Podcast: Death threats, Brexit and football, with Miles Jacobson

New episode available to download now, Football Manager dev tells us why his job is to predict the future

The latest episode of The GamesIndustry.biz Podcast features Sports Interactive studio director Miles Jacobson and is available to download now.

Skirting around our lack of football knowledge, this episode explores the use of Football Manager data by some of the sport's biggest clubs, the work that goes into adding new features, and demand for localisation from different markets around the world.

Jacobson also discusses extensively his experiences when it comes to dealing with death threats, and the divisive decision to include the impact of Brexit in last year's Football Manager, expanding on our interview with him last year.

Last month, Miles Jacobson was one of the figureheads named as one of the 100 most influential people in the UK games industry. You can find the rest of the inaugural GamesIndustry.biz 100 here.
