GamesIndustry.biz to host David Braben keynote at Develop:Brighton 2019

Frontier Developments CEO will discuss the studio's 25-year history with our own Chris Dring

Tandem Events, the organisers of Develop:Brighton, have announced the final keynote of this year's conference.

The first day of the event will be closed off with a fireside chat between Frontier Developments CEO and founder David Braben and GamesIndustry.biz publisher Chris Dring.

The keynote will be entitled 25 Years of Frontier Developments with David Braben, and will explore the studio's history, from early titles like 1995 shoot 'em up Darxide to current hit Jurassic World Evolution and the forthcoming Planet Zoo.

The session will be held on Tuesday, July 9. Develop:Brighton 2019 runs until Thursday, July 11, and will once again be held at the Brighton Hilton Metropole.

Braben's is the fourth keynote to be announced this year, with Hello Games' Sean Murray, Rebellion co-founders Chris and Jason Kingsley, and the founders of Dreams studio Media Molecule also taking to the main stage throughout the week.

Other speakers include representatives of Xbox, PlayStation, BioWare, Hangar 13, Ubisoft Reflections, Eidos Montreal, Rare, Jagex, Bossa Studios, and more.
