THQ Nordic launches new studio Campfire Cabal
The developer will focus on narrative RPGs and its executive leadership team includes creative director Jonas Waever
THQ Nordic unveiled its newest studio based of out Copenhagen, Denmark, Campfire Cabal.
The developer will prioritize the creation of story focused RPGs. It is currently working on an unannounced title.
Campfire Cabal was established by industry veterans who worked on games such as Expeditions: Rome, the Hitman-series, and Hunt: Showdown.
The new studio will be headed by creative director Jonas Waever and its management team.
Waever has been a career designer and creative director throughout his time in the games industry.
Executive leadership for Campfire Cabal also includes art director Caroline Fangel and technical director Nils Iver Holtar.
Campfire Cabal will operate independently as a subsidiary of THQ Nordic.
