The GamesIndustry.biz Podcast: Motorsports and Motörhead

Latest episode features interviews with Forza Horizon 3 dev Playground Games and legendary guitarist Phil Campbell

The newest episode of The GamesIndustry.biz Podcast is out now, offering something interesting for petrolheads and rock fans alike.

This week, we present two recent interviews with not only a highly successful games developer but a musical legend. First up, we speak to Playground Games' creative director Ralph Fulton about the success of Forza Horizon 3, the intricacies of the racing genre and the increased competition in that space in 2017.

Earlier this week, GamesIndustry.biz revealed Playground Games is opening a new studio to work on an open world, non-racing game.

Then we have Phil Campbell, guitarist of the world famous rock band Motörhead, and Haemimont Games' Achim Heidelauf to talk about Motörhead Through The Ages, the unlikely expansion to demon-hunting action-RPG Victor Vran. Campbell shares with us his experience of contributing to the game, why Motörhead takes projects like this seriously and reflects on bandmate Lemmy's gaming habits.

Not a fan of rock or racing? Our previous episodes explore mobile games, virtual reality and offered first impressions of the Nintendo Switch.
