Indie publishing is dead - a talk by an indie publisher | Investment Summit Online

Tinybuild's Alex Nichiporchik on the current state of indie publishing, and what lies on the road ahead

When Tinybuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik proclaimed "The 'indie publishing' business is dead" recently, he caused quite a stir.

At the Investment Summit Online today, Nichiporchik will explain that position in more detail, and what it means for publishing as a whole.

Tinybuild was founded in 2011 on the back of a single, micro-budget title, No Time to Explain. Much has changed in the ensuing nine years, and the company's success with Hello Neighbour -- which includes games, books, a tv show, and more -- points to a change in how ambitious indie publishers can be with their IP.

The livestream of the 25-minute talk begins at 5.30pm BST, and is embedded below. You can find the full Investment Summit schedule on the official website, and watch all of the talks on the YouTube channel.
