Amber opens new Mexico studio

Development services agency creating 50 jobs in Guadalajara this year

Amber has announced the opening of a new studio is Mexico's second largest city.

The office will initially focus on QA and art outsourcing, but will eventually offer the full suite of development services that the agency provides.

Amber Mexico will operate out of the Ciudad Creative Digital tech hub in Guadalajara. The team will be lead by general manager Jorge Suarez, who has spent 16 years working at local development studios.

The company is currently recruiting for the new studio, with the aim of having 50 full-time staff by the end of 2020.

Amber already employs over 450 people around the world, across studios in San Francisco, Los Angeles and its headquarters in Bucharest.

The agency has previously worked with notable games firms such as Paradox Interactive, Rovio, Thatgamecompany and Raw Fury, as well as Disney and NBC Universal.
