Amber generated $30.5m in 2021 and announces new studio in Poland

With the expansion firm intends to grow its staff alongside game genre offerings and services

Today video game development and studio services agency Amber reported that in 2021 it generated $30.5 million in revenue, up 56% year-over-year.

The firm also announced that it's opened a new office in Warsaw, Poland.

Amber's new studio joins its locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Bucharest, Botoșani, Guadalajara, Montreal and Kyiv.

Greg Ciach will serve as Amber Warsaw's general manager and throughout his career he's previously served in a variety of roles across various companies.

He was CEO of indie developer PolyAmorous, business development director at Platige Image, and Narrative Designer at Tequila Games for example.

"I'm certain we can bring a breath of fresh air to the Polish AA/AAA game dev scene as we set out to take advantage of the latest industry trends and become a major player while doing so," Ciach said.

Additionally, Amber said that with the new expansion it intends to grow its staff alongside its game genre offerings and services.
