Wasteland 3 delayed due to COVID-19

Update: Minecraft Dungeons also delayed into May for the same reason

Original story: InXile has announced it will delay the launch of Wasteland 3 from May to August 28, 2020 due to challenges brought about by COVID-19.

"We've been excited to see the Wasteland 3 beta so well-received, but the reality is that with these new logistical challenges our release was going to be impacted," reads a statement from studio head Brian Fargo.

"We're in a great position with both Microsoft and Deep Silver supporting our desire to ensure the game launches in the best possible circumstances, and to add a few extra months to ensure this is a stellar product on day one."

Fargo adds that InXile will be implementing feedback the studio heard from the recent beta during this time alongside extra polish and tweaks to co-op.

Update: Mojang has also announced today it is delaying Minecraft Dungeons to May 26, also due to COVID-19.

"As you all know, we initially planned to release Minecraft Dungeons by the end of April," Mojang said.

"However, due to the current state of the world, this was no longer possible, as we wanted to guarantee the health and safety of our teams, and empower them to deliver the best possible experience to you, our players."
