Testronic opens first Asia office

QA and localisation firm now established in Bangkok, aims to help Western firms target Asian markets

Service provider Testronic has secured a footing in the East with the opening of a new office in Asia.

Thailand becomes the fourth nation in which the QA specialist has established operations, with a dedicated office now located in the capital city of Bangkok. The firm already has premises in the UK, US and Poland.

Testronic hopes to help Western games companies target markets in the Asia Pacific region, with the new office offering culture and business intelligence as well as the QA and localisation services the firm is best known for.

Lily Gavin-Allen has been hired as head of business development, and will be based in Bangkok. She will draw on her experience of the Asian markets to help secure more clients and further current partners' interests in the region.

She will also be reaching out to developers in Japan, Korea, China and other local markets to offer Testronic's services in helping to target Western markets.

The company will also be targeting more than just game developers, with services offered to film and TV producers, following the work already carried out by Testronic's Hollywood office.
