Realtime Worlds opens new office in Dundee

APB developer to grow to 300 staff by year end

Crackdown developer Realtime Worlds has opened a new office in Dundee, Scotland, and intends to grow from 265 staff to 300 by the end of the year.

The space comprises of 8000 sqft, and is in addition to the 26,000 sqft office already in use. The studio's new title, APB, is due to launch in early 2010.

"When we opened our current facility less than three years ago we hadn’t yet shipped our first game," said studio manager Colin MacDonald. "Since then we’ve had tremendous commercial and critical success, and have done the lion’s share of the work towards a successful launch of our online title APB."

"This additional space allows us to continue to grow at the pace needed to attain the quality of a game like APB, and build the infrastructure required to support its online launch."
