Oculus to speak at the GamesIndustry.biz Investment Summit at PAX East

The Facebook firm is also eager to meet with VR developers

Oculus is the latest name to join the GamesIndustry.biz Investment Summit at PAX East next month.

The VR giant will be speaking during our morning conference and is also looking to meet with VR developers during the afternoon. The firm joins a speaker line-up that includes PlayStation's Shuhei Yoshida discussing the future of the business with other indie legends, Kickstarter's Anya Combs and Xsolla's David Daniels.

More speakers will be announced in the coming days.

The Investment Summit connects developers together with publishers, platform holders and investors, and is designed to get games and studios funded. Now in its tenth year, the Summit has generated millions of dollars for game creators worldwide. This PAX East event will take place on Thursday, February 27th in Boston and tickets are on sale now.

A ticket includes access to the conference, a chance to get your game in front of our attending investors and publishers, a networking lunch, plus a two-day pass to PAX East.

Companies eager to meet indie developers include PlayStation, Oculus, Ubisoft, Gearbox, Kowloon Nights, TinyBuild, Merge Games, Humble Bundle, Super.com, Graffiti Games, Snail Games and Xsolla. Many more will be announced in the coming days.

The event begins with our conference, followed by the lunch and with the one-to-one meetings taking place in the afternoon. Meetings are at the discretion of the attending publishers and investors.

Tickets are on sale now. PAX East indie exhibitors can request a free ticket here.

Publishers and investors looking to attend the Summit are encouraged to buy a table to meet with studios. Tables cost $700 and can be booked by emailing Jamie.Sefton@gamesindustry.biz.

Xsolla is the headline sponsor for the event, which will take place at the Aloft Hotel next door to PAX East in Boston. Interested in being a sponsor for the Investment Summit? Contact our events manager Charlotte Nangle through here.
