Lionhead vets form new UK studio

First release, GodFinger, to published on iPhone by ngmoco

Three former Lionhead veterans have formed a new UK development studio, Wonderland Software, and announced their first title for iPhone, GodFinger.

Mark Rose and Matthew Wiggins formed the outfit in the summer of last year, and have since been joined by Al Harding. The team has previously worked on Fable, its sequel and Black & White 2 for Lionhead.

"Wonderland is a scrappy start-up, aiming towards a big future," wrote the team on its website. "Our games will be full of charm and wonder, with social interaction at their core. Initially targeting the iPhone and iPod Touch, we can’t wait to see what the future holds."

GodFinger, built with the aid of three freelancers, will be published by US iPhone specialist ngmoco.
