Infogrames appoints distribution head
Jackie Fromion to head up Atari-Namco Bandai joint venture company
Infogrames has announced that it has appointed Jackie Fromion as head of Distribution Partners, the distribution joint venture with Namco Bandai, formerly referred to by Infogrames CEO David Gardner as Districo.
Fromion, who has previous experience with the Coca-Cola, Haagen Dazs and Yoplait brands, also worked for EA as head of Label Brand Development for The Sims.
"I am very pleased to welcome Jackie," said Gardner. "As head of the new distribution company, he will bring his dynamism, professionalism and experience to help us to grow the business and develop the strategy."
Namco Bandai has an initial 34 per cent stake in Distribution Partners, which will exclusively handle global distribution for all Namco and Atari products.
