Improbable establishes new London HQ

Larger space will accommodate increasing staff needs as SpatialOS creator outgrows original office

The UK-based creator of SpatialOS, Improbable, has announced it will relocate its headquarters from central London to a new, larger office elsewhere in the city, in Spitalfield.

Improbable's new space has the capacity for over 500 staff, and the studio anticipates further expansion of its team following a recent strategic investment from NetEase and imminent plans to release development kits for its SpatialOS platform.

The move was necessitated by Improbable's growing staff of around 320 employees at the London office alone. The company also has an office in China, and a North American office in Edmonton that it opened last year.

"We have been working hard to hire the best and have grown a lot in the last few years," said CEO Herman Narula. "Improbable has simply outgrown our first central London office. Our new office will be a place where we can focus on enabling our partners and community to create the next generation of online games and simulations using SpatialOS."
