Online readership of GamesIndustry.biz continues to grow, with the leading trade site recording 345,122 unique users in September 2009.
According to data from Google Analytics, users generated 1,138,675 page impressions during the month, with less than 2 per cent of that traffic from sister site Eurogamer.net.
"Now the online market is reaching maturity it is clear to see that the whole industry is now treating online as the primary communication method with the trade," said managing director Rupert Loman.
"Advertisers are now looking for a proven industry audience on trade sites, not random consumers, and the rapid growth of membership on the GamesIndustry.biz Network means we are in a position to deliver on this."
The GamesIndustry.biz Network now boasts 5788 Network Users, 1339 Freelancers and 1805 Student accounts.
A geographical breakdown of the statistics shows that over 35 per cent of traffic comes from the UK, while almost 24 per cent is from the US. A full breakdown of regions follows:
