Nintendo teams with Activision for new DS bundle

Nintendo is teaming with Activision for its first third-party hardware bundle, for the release of Guitar Hero: World Tour.

A silver and black handheld, complete with Guitar Hero: World Tour branding, a copy of the game and the accompanying peripheral will go on sale June 22 in the region.

"We are thrilled to be the first third-party publisher to partner with Nintendo on this unique offering," said Dusty Welch, head of publishing for RedOctane.

World Tour is the first handheld title in Activision's Guitar Hero franchise, which has already surpassed USD 1 billion in sales in North America alone.
