GTA III gets 10th anniversary tablet release
Available on iOS and Android later this autumn
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III on October 22, Rockstar will release the title for iOS and Android devices.
"Grand Theft Auto III showed us the potential of open world games," said Rockstar founder Sam Houser.
"It helped set the vision for the company, and we have been expanding on those possibilities with every game ever since."
The new mobile titles will be available to play at New York Comic-Con on October 14, and released later this autumn.
Rockstar previously released Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for iPhone in January 2010, and iPad in September 2010.
A limited edition Claude action figure will also go on sale for $149.99.
