Renowned Killzone 2 producer to present at event, alongside Maple Story director Eundo Chae

SCEE senior vice president and producer of over 40 games, Yasuhide Kobayashi has been confirmed as a speaker at this year's DICE Summit Asia.

Kobayashi will discuss 'the history of cultured localisation: taking on the eternal challenge of crossing cultural borders' for his presentation, which takes place on September 17 as part of the GC Asia Conference.

The VP, who began his career at Sega, has produced over 40 games to date, which include Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Patapon, Everybody's Golf and Resistance: Fall of Man.

Also confirmed to speak at the Asia event is Eundo Chae, general director for Wizet Studio, Nexon, creators of the free-to-play massively multiplayer online RPG Maple Story.

Chae's presentation, entitled 'how Nexon was able to create a property that was relevant across the world', will discuss the popular game, now subscribed to by more than 65 million users.

The two join other speakers, including Chris Taylor of Gas Powered Games and NanaOn-Sha founder Masaya Matsuura, previously announced for the event held at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre on September 17-18.
