SBS Contents Hub's 2D side-scrolling MMOG enters North American open beta under the wing of NDOORS Interactive.
Seoul, Korea- Jan. 20th, 2010 – SBS Contents Hub announced that its 2D side-scrolling MMO WonderKing, developed by Ruy & Soft and operated by NDOORS Interactive in North America, entered Open Beta Test (OBT) in North America.
WonderKing began OBT in North America since January 7th and received a lot of positive feedback from users regarding its superb localization. The marriage between NDOORS' operation know-how and WonderKing's gameplay proved to be a huge success in the region.
SBS Contents Hub signed a publishing contract with NDOORS Interactive for the North America in December 2008. NDOORS Interactive is the U.S. subsidiary of Korea-based NDOORS, which develops and publishes online games including Atlantica, Luminary: Rise of the Goonzu and KoongPa. NDOORS has signed an investment agreement with SBS Contents Hub on Atlantica's European launch in last November and began its official operation in Germany.
"With its operation in North America, WonderKing is on its way to become competitive game contents in the global market," said Young Seok Kim at SBS Contents Hub.
WonderKing is expected to begin partial commercial service as opening a cash shop in late January.
