Wii U's release date leaked by retailer - rumor

According to rumors, the North American Wii U launch will come a week before the Japanese one

According to an internal memo obtained by WiiUDaily, Nintendo's Wii U consoles will launch on November 18, 2012 in North America. The Japanese Wii is scheduled for a release one week later, with no word on a European launch date. The email reportedly came from within the Tokyo-based Media Land retail chain prior to being leaked.

A Sunday launch may be odd, but the Wii itself launched on November 19, 2006, which was also a Sunday. Nintendo previously confirmed that the Wii U would be released sometime before the end of 2012, and the November date puts it right ahead of the prime holiday shopping season.

The November 18 release also marks my birthday. So you guys know what to get me.
