Warbands - Rise of Baron Muntu is a hilarious, easy to learn yet difficult to master, turn-based war strategy game with beautiful comic art, stunning particle effects and great sound design for Windows. In contrast to many other turn based games, Warbands does not take hours to play and can thus be enjoyed by even the busiest strategist.
A closer look :
Wardonia used to be the most beautiful place in the world. From the Isle of white to Aras, from Hokum to the eastern provinces, flowers would blossom and the people would sing. But then the evil Baron Muntu seized the country with his army and enslaved its people. Now the flowers no longer blossom and the people sing no more. But there is still hope. Throughout the country remain rebel groups, or Warbands as they are called, longing to fight back. In Warbands the Player joins one such group as he tries to rid the land of the evil Baron!

Warbands - Rise of Baron Muntu features a 25 Level single player campaign where the player meets the legendary Chief and his loyal sidekick Sergeant Pepper, Hank, the Desert Lord, Moley the mole, the Mime and many other illustrious characters. Over the course of the campaign the player learns how to build and use over 20 different units for battle on land, at sea and in the sky. Endless replayability is guaranteed with skirmish matches against the AI, multiplayer battles for up to 4 players via hotseat, lan or over the internet and the inclusion of a level editor.
