The story begins in Virtual Villagers: A New Home. A group of people have been rendered homeless by a volcanic eruption. They manage to escape on their boats and sail the seas until they find land, but unfortunately they’ve stumbled across an uninhabited island called Isola. It’s up to you to help the villagers start from scratch by teaching them the necessary skills to create a civilisation.

Train farmers, builders and scientists. You’ll also have to encourage your villagers to procreate, in order to keep your settlement growing and prospering. Soon, your tribe will become curious about the secrets of their new island home and begin to explore…

The story continues in Virtual Villagers sequel The Lost Children, as your villagers discover the Western Shore of Isola. There they find a group of abandoned children. You must take what you have already learned and apply it in order to nurture the little ones into a thriving tribe. Take the youngsters under your wing and help them survive and flourish.

You’ll uncover more of Isola’s secrets as you unravel the continuing story of Virtual Villagers. Both games feature unique and unpredictable events to keep you on your toes. You’ll also solve puzzles, necessary to help your little people progress. Additionally, real-time gameplay means that your villagers will continue with their lives even when your computer is switched off, resulting in new surprises every time you start up the game! Perhaps your villagers will have completed building a structure, or will there be some cute new babies toddling around?

So go on, treat yourself this to this excellent value double pack and start your own tribe. You’ll undoubtedly grow attached to your villagers and reap the rewards of their success for a long time to come.
