Unigine

PS3 version of game engine now available for licensing.

Tomsk, Russia - December 8, 2010 -  Unigine Corp. announced that PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) version of its Unigine engine is  available for licensing starting from today.

Before delivering the updated SDK to customers, Unigine Corp. has thorouhgly ironed out all possible difficulties on its  OilRush naval strategy game, which is currently in development.

"PS3 is definitely a very interesting platform from a technical standpoint, but I was surprised how easy the porting from Windows/Linux was. Thanks to the flexible Unigine framework we plan to add more supported platforms soon", commented Alexander Zaprjagaev, CTO of Unigine Corp.

Due to entering the PS3 middleware market, the company provides impressive discounts for licensing a PS3 version of Unigine SDK. In December you've got a chance to get a really huge discount: the price for the full source Unigine SDK for PS3 (bundled together with Windows/Linux versions) is only $40k.  Request a free evaluation kit right now.

"There is a lack of powerful but affordable 3D engines for PS3, we would like to fill the gap", said Denis Shergin, CEO of Unigine Corp.
