Ubisoft and Aardman partner on Rabbids TV show

Live-action/CGI mix for Rayman spin-off

Ubisoft is to bring its much-merchandised Raving Rabbids property to the small screen.

The French publisher will partner with British animation studio Aardman, as revealed by a job listing sent out by the latter and seen by entertainment site Bleeding Cool.

The show will by a hybrid of live action and computer-generated animation, and will apparently be handled in-house at Wallace and Gromit creator Aardman.

Raving Rabbids originated as villains in a Wii Rayman title, but have since gone on to become arguably a bigger property in their own right.

Raving Rabbids: Travel In Time launches this November. Transmission dates for the Aardman show are unrevealed as yet.
