TY the Tasmanian Tiger: Bush Rescue HQ

Antipodean hero gets new home on Facebook.

July 27, 2010 – BRISBANE – Krome Studios, Australia’s largest video game developer, proudly announced today a new venture in the TY the Tasmanian Tiger series of video games.

“TY the Tasmanian Tiger: Bush Rescue HQ” for the Facebook platform ( www.facebook.com/bushrescue) will be the place to be for all things to do with the multi-million selling, award-winning games and its characters.

Bush Rescue HQ will be the social hub of the TY universe, bringing together fans of the video game series and newcomers alike to share stories, help each other play and see exclusive details on new TY video game developments.

“I’m very excited to be bringing back our signature character,” said Steve Stamatiadis, creator of TY and Creative Director of Krome Studios, “we have had great success with him in the past, and we feel there’s a huge opportunity to introduce TY the Tasmanian Tiger to Facebook gamers around the world.”

Players will be able to build their own Bush Rescue HQ and help the residents of Southern Rivers and their friends in the first TY game since 2005’s “TY the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan”

The first stage of Bush Rescue HQ is online now at http://www.facebook.com/bushrescue and features a character creator where players generate their own avatar in the style of the TY video game series.

Further updates every “TY Tuesday” will add more extensive customisation options, community interaction and new gameplay elements.
