- Prominent game music composer participating in the production of Lime Odyssey

- Grand harmony of Game and Sound with melody from 76 members of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra

Game developer "Sirius Entertainment" (CEO: Hwang Byeong-chan) announced today that Japanese game music composer Mitsuda Yasunori (ÎÃï£ Ë¬îð) would be in charge of sound for the 3D fantasy online game "Lime Odyssey ( www.lime-on.co.kr)," which is currently under development by the company.

Mitsuda Yasunori started making a name for himself among gamers when he participated in Square's "Chrono Trigger," which ranked as the top dream project among video games, and its sequel "Chrono Cross." He eventually cemented his status as a talented composer by providing overall supervision to the sound for Monolith Soft's "XENOSAGA," considered a masterpiece among many gamers even today, and the starting point of the series "XENOGEARS." Currently, he is involved in various composing activities as CEO as well as a composer for game sound producer "PROCYON STUDIO." As a result, he was ranked no. 2 among Japanese role-playing game music composers in 2008 by leading game media group "IGN."

Lime Odyssey's sound -- which will be introduced in the future -- features the harmony of sentimental feelings and generous serving of aesthetics while giving the impression of restoring the fantasy world completely. In February 2008, Mr. Mitsuda started recording along with 76 members of the "Czech Philharmonic Orchestra" at the Dvorak hall of the Neo-Renaissance theater "Rudolfinum" in the Czech republic to perfect sound tracks with such feel. Since Mario Klemens who conducted the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra has participated in movies including animations such as "Princess Mononoke" and "Howl's Moving Castle," gamers can look forward to a high level of perfection as well as good understanding of the Lime Odyssey project, which falls under the same entertainment category.

Mr. Mitsuda explained that the resulting works are making smooth progress. "The sound of strings is really magnificent, and the performance that communicates a joyful feeling is very sweet. Even the brass was executed with precision; the Percussion does not interfere with the melodies of other instruments while producing a clear sound. They are clearly the world's top orchestra," he said. He felt coming all the way to Prague, Czech was worth it because he is able to record music that is a step more refined than other music, one that most conventional orchestra cannot express.

According to him, his heart started fluttering when he first saw the screen of Lime Odyssey and felt joy just thinking about what kind of music would go well with the game while working on the sound. "Although there is the constant process of rewriting scores because I'm pouring my heart and soul into every piece, it is a rewarding experience since the music is being reborn as one of my representative works. I hope many gamers are also able to savor the music while playing this game," he said.

Game developer Sirius Entertainment plans to increase the overall volume of the game by one notch with the sound of the game based on the sentimental sound introduced by Mitsuda Yasunori, who is highly acclaimed among gamers from both Korea and Japan.

"I thought a musician who is familiar with and with good understanding of games should be the one to introduce a good sound, so I decided to work with producer Mitsuda who has extensive experience in this area. I expect the musical pieces he will introduce to be grafted well into the atmosphere of Lime Odyssey," said CEO Hwang Byung-Chan, the overall supervisor of this project. Speaking on behalf of his company, he vowed to do his best to introduce a game with good balance between the game and the music and promised gamers a high level of perfection.
