League of Legends: Wild Rift has amassed $500m in global revenue

China accounts for 72% of total player spending following its October 2021 launch

A newly released Sensor Tower report says that Riot Games' League of Legends: Wild Rift has generated $500 million in global lifetime revenue.

Wild Rift launched in October 2020 as one of Riot Games' first mobile title offerings.

In terms of player spending, China accounts for 72% of the title's revenue at $346.6 million via the Apple App Store alone.

Wild Rift launched in the Chinese market in October 2021.

The majority of Wild Rift's player spending has taken place on the App Store, as it generated $452.2 million in total.

On the Google Play storefront, consumer revenue reached $80 million or 16%.

Additionally, Sensor Tower notes that with Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and Wild Rift, Riot Games' mobile library has amassed $828 million in consumer spending.

Last year, Riot Games confirmed that it intends to release a mobile game based on its shooter title Valorant.
