THQ WIRELESS I-MODE STRATEGY DEVELOPS WITH SIGNING OF TELEFONICA MOVILES ESPANA CONTRACT

Thursday 16th December 2004, Woking, Surrey, UK: THQ Wireless Inc. ("THQ Wireless"), a leading publisher of mobile games, announces the expansion of its i-modeTM services following the signing of an agreement with Telefonica Moviles in Spain. The new service is available immediately at MoviStar e-mocion, the content access service for all Telefonica MoviStar customers which provides pay-per-download based services and content to mobile subscribers across a broad range of services, including games.

The first titles to be available on this latest THQ DoJa i-modeTM service include Billiards, Darts, EurosportTM Football, MotoGPTM, Ministry of SoundTM Dance Nation, The PunisherTM and Worms®.

i-modeTM services provide consumers around the world with low-cost, fast and easy access to mobile games. THQ Wireless' games will be available in multiple languages to include German, Italian, French, English and Spanish. Users accessing the THQ i-modeTM sites are able to browse details of the games available. To subscribe, they pay a monthly subscription fee which gives them unlimited download access to all the games and unlimited gameplay time.
