THEXDER NEO

PSP side-scrolling shooter now available for PS3 download too.

Thursday 28th January/...Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, announces THEXDER NEO is available from today via PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. The game, previously released for PSP® in October 2009 is available to download from the PlayStation®Store on across PAL territories, priced £7.99 and €7.99. The new PlayStation3 download has been updated to include HD graphics and also contains the original Thexder PC version.

Originally launched back in 1985 from GAME ARTS and regarded by many as a classic, THEXDER is a side-scrolling shooter featuring slick animation, strategic transforming-mech gameplay, and spectacular homing lasers. Now you can experience the excitement of the original, complete with revamped graphics, a novice mode, six-player online races, and a host of other all-new features in THEXDER NEO.
