The Happy, Hazardous Holiday Season of Frostval Visits AdventureQuest

(Sunnyvale, CA - November 22, 2006) - Artix Entertainment loves a good holiday as much as the next person, but just look at what the next Frostval has in store for players of AdventureQuest. Then again, Frostval is no mere annual winter holiday. With Frostval comes the gift-giving magical Moglins and the possession of the enemies Sandy Claws the Clawg and Frosty the Snow Golem by a new and mysterious arch-fiend.
Dozens of new items, monsters and more surprises await participating players. In the Guardian Tower, special gift boxes appear which contain gifts that are revealed on the first day of the New Year. Just like how kids find even gift boxes as much fun to play with as the gifts themselves, the boxes the gifts appear in can be as armor in-game.
In the meantime, for Thanksgiving, on November 24th, a rare Turkey pet is available through an in-game gift shop that allows the turkeys to take out their holiday fury on the unsuspecting monsters in AdventureQuest.
AdventureQuest is a Flash-animated role-playing game playable on most browsers. Free to play, for either minutes or hours a day, players can delve into an action-packed fantasy world of myth and magic filled with hundreds of monsters, weapons, armor and items.
