-- 12th January 2007 --

London, United Kingdom -12th January 2006 - System 3 today announced that 2007 would be its 25th anniversary year, beginning a year of celebrations including the re-launch of some industry classic franchises.

System 3 was launched in 1982 by Mark Cale and Emerson Best and began by publishing games on the Atari 400/800 machines soon adding Commodore 64 and Sinclair ZX Spectrum to its roster. The first-ever system 3 release was Colony 7 on the Atari 400.

Throughout the 80's and 90's, System 3 worked hard to stay close to it's 'Gameplay is King' ethic with company mission statement "perfection is the only accepted standard". and won critical acclaim with groundbreaking titles such as Last Ninja, International Karate, Constructor and Putty, Myth amongst others..

System 3, CEO, Mark Cale commented, "It's hard to believe that we've been here for 25 years. We've seen a lot of changes in the industry and lots of people, systems and ideas come and go. One thing has stayed the same though - great games will always stand the test of time".

The company will celebrate its 25 year passing by launching onto all the new formats with new games from the Epyx cataglogue; California Games and Impossible Mission and with their most-famous brand Last Ninja.

The company will shortly announce its marketing strategy for the year which will include the securing of several major licenses and a massively high-profile sponsorship programme.
