Susan Panico exits US PlayStation Network role

Sony Computer Entertainment America's senior director of PlayStation Network steps down after 5 years

Susan Panico has stepped down from her position with Sony Computer Entertainment America as senior director of PlayStation Network.

"We can confirm Susan has left SCEA," said Sony's Patrick Seybold.

"We thank her for her considerable contribution to our business and wish her every success in the future."

Panico held the role for 5 years, but had been with SCEA since 1994, when she started as a PR assistant. During her time with the company she played a vital role in the launch of content delivery features, virtual world Home, and PlayStation Plus. She was also involved in SCEA's popular television show The Tester.

Last month Sony lost two senior executives ahead of the launch of PlayStation Vita.

SCEA has yet to announce who will take over Panico's role.
