Supreme Boxing

Multiplayer online pugilism now available, though still no sign of Diana Ross.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

12th June, 2008

Online game developers Gamejam have launched the multiplayer online boxing game Supreme Boxing ( www.supremeboxing.com). The launch follows a successful beta testing phase which attracted over 8,000 players.

Supreme Boxing is a massive multiplayer online boxing simulation that allows users to create and build a stable of boxers that will compete with other boxers across different weights and regions in a bid climb the rankings and become champion of the world. Players can develop their boxer skills, buy enter tournaments, join boxing clubs and fight other boxers in either spar or professional bouts.

As the users character grows in rank and reputation, there is the option to buy houses, luxuries and special items, or channel resources into the player’s professional development. The user may choose to build his own skills in a role-playing style that will, in turn improve the in-game skills of the character.

According to Gamejam’s Director Dave Bird, the introduction of certain innovative features hand real control over to the player.

“Our intention with Supreme Boxing is to accurately represent the rivalry and competition of the boxing world as they battle for titles, reputation, fame and fortune,” said Bird.
