SuperData launches media measurement tool SuperData Arena

Dashboard will allow users to track multiple metrics related to game streaming and videos across major content platforms

Market intelligence company SuperData has launched a media measurement dashboard called SuperData Arena, a tool for those with a vested interest in video and streaming metrics to gather an overview of audience response, demographics, and spending.

The dashboard offers insights related to audience engagement across major platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, allowing users to compare titles, streamers and events by metrics such as hours streamed and viewed, peak concurrent viewers, audience retention, and others.

SuperData Arena also hopes to court brands and sponsors, particularly those interested in esports, by offering an Influencer Value Index. The Index provides tools to assist with determining ROI for potential sponsorships, including a breakdown of audience purchasing intent for various channels.

"Watching games online has quickly become one of the most popular forms of interactive entertainment, with many games video titles and esports events now generating audiences that rival traditional media content," said SuperData CEO Joost van Dreunen.

"The new SuperData Arena dashboard offers brands and publishers the ability to have a combined view of gaming video streaming data metrics with game sales data. It provides a holistic view of how players and fans are consuming and engaging with streaming content across the world's most popular channels and platforms."

Last month, SuperData was acquired by data analytics company Nielsen Holdings.
