Super Smash Bros being co-developed by Namco Bandai

The next Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS is getting outside help

During its Nintendo Direct livestream event, Nintendo announced that Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS will be co-developed by Namco Bandai. Project Sora, the Nintendo studio led by Kirby creator and designer Masahiro Sakurai, will be working with the third-party on the game. Project Sora previously developed Kid Icarus: Uprising for 3DS.

Sakurai's former team, HAL Laboratory, has developed the previous Smash Bros games, but will not been involved on this title.
