Storm Attack

Block-destroying iPhone puzzler updated to version 1.1.

Robbinsdale, MN. – December 1, 2009 – Rhock & Rholl Studios, LLC today announced the release of a major update for their popular iPhone™ and iPod touch® game, Storm Attack™.

The free update brings with it a number of new features, including:

2 New Game Modes: Play with three blocks in 3-Color Mode, or defuse bombs in Bomb Mode.

Advanced Difficulty: Start any game at Level 10.

Customizable Block Colors: Choose your own color scheme.

6 New Awards (41 Total): Unlock additional awards unique to the new game modes.

Something Secret: Can you find the Easter Egg? Looks like the developers snuck in something extra…

In Storm Attack, players are tasked with dragging, arranging, and destroying a constant stream of falling blocks, with a simple goal in mind: score as many points as possible before a stack of blocks reaches the top of the screen. However, every minute, a storm rains down a swarm of fast-moving blocks. Additionally, players need to keep an eye on their ammo, as they need it to destroy blocks.

The storm and ammo systems are what set Storm Attack apart from similar titles. The storm system adds a challenging time component, as players need to get the playfield reasonably clear every minute. Additionally, the ammo system adds a layer of resource management, encouraging players to think carefully about how they arrange their blocks, and which clusters they destroy.

Storm Attack also fully integrates with AGON Online™ by Aptocore, a leading social gaming platform for iPhone and iPod Touch games enabling:

• Online leaderboards

• Location aware scores

• Awards system

• Friends lists

• Persistent player profile

• Facebook and Twitter integration
