Steve Jarratt leaving Future Publishing

Senior group editor will go in September

Senior group editor Steve Jarratt will leave Future Publishing in September.

According to MCV Jarratt will leave at the end of Future's current consultation period, which should be completed by the end of next month.

Future recently announced plans to cut 100 people, or around 10 per cent of staff. The company is currently reviewing UK operations.

Jarratt is a games publishing veteran, launching Official PlayStation Magazine UK, Edge, and gadget magazine T3 and redesigning major titles including Official Xbox 360. He's also worked with Newsfield and EMAP.
