Former Midway and Atari man joins episodic adventure folks Telltale as senior VP of marketing.

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – April 1, 2010 – Telltale Inc, a leading digital publisher of interactive entertainment, announced today that game industry veteran Steve Allison has joined the executive team as Senior Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Allison will lead all marketing efforts for the company and its award-winning lineup of episodic gaming products, which includes the Tales of Monkey Island and Sam & Max series.

Mr. Allison joins Telltale with over 12 years of experience in the interactive entertainment industry including roles in senior management, marketing, publishing and business development. Prior to joining Telltale Mr. Allison served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President for TNA Entertainment, overseeing consumer products, licensing, digital content and brand building on behalf of the sports entertainment organization where he worked from April 2008 until March 2010 during a period of record growth. Before joining TNA Entertainment Mr. Allison served as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Midway Games from December 2003 until April 2008. Prior to joining Midway Mr. Allison held various publishing, marketing and management positions at Atari between 1994 and 2003. At Midway Games, Atari, and Accolade, he successfully built great teams and global sales success for multi-million unit selling game franchises including the Unreal & Unreal Tournament series, Lord of the Rings Online, Test Drive series, Driver series, Enter The Matrix, Mortal Kombat, Blitz: The League, and Neverwinter Nights.
