Sony commits $20m to PSN exclusives

Publisher invests in new content for the next three years

Sony has said that it is committing $20 million over three years for exclusive titles for the PlayStation Network.

The investment is an extension of the Pub Fund, first announced in 2009, and now includes first-party as well as third-party projects.

Exclusive titles for the PlayStation Network have included Joe Danger, Burn Zombie Burn, Flower and the PixelJunk titles.

While the PlayStation Network is currently available on PlayStation 3 and PSP, Sony intends to extend the service to include Blu-ray, TV and other home entertainment devices.
