Shadow Light Games and Player One join forces in exclusive mobile gaming output deal

Shadow Light Games to develop future key Player One sporting franchises

London, 12 July 2007 - Shadow Light Games, a UK mobile games developer, has entered a developer output partnership with Player One, a mobile content provider and games publisher, where Shadow Light will exclusively produce future versions of a number of Player One's most significant licensed sports games. The long-term partnership starts immediately and provisionally covers the development of ten games over the next two years, including current and future acquired sporting licences.

"Shadow Light has created some exceptional games for Player One over the last couple of years, with each title produced raising the bar in terms of quality and expectation," said Pete Russell, managing director, Player One. "As such, we are very much looking forward to working with them with our major licences over the coming years. Our commitment to Shadow Light makes perfect sense for us, as we believe they will continue to flourish as a leading international developer."

Through the deal, the franchises to be exclusively developed by Shadow Light include Ronnie O'Sullivan, Freddie Flintoff and Steve Davis, with additional licences to be announced later on in 2007.

"Securing this output deal with Player One is a tremendous step forward for raising the profile of Shadow Light Games", said Aamar Rana, managing director, Shadow Light Games. "Consumer interest in mobile gaming has exploded over the last year and the demand for high quality games that provide the console experience is stronger than ever. We feel that with our heritage in game development and Player One's talent, market know-how in sports and global distribution network, this deal will firmly put Shadow Light Games on the map as a premier league developer."

Shadow Light Games and Player One first started working together in 2004 and have since successfully developed and published a number of critically acclaimed titles, such as Ronnie O'Sullivan Snooker 2007 and Freddie Flintoff All-Round Cricket.
