Roblox closes on $150 million Series F funding round

Company's largest funding round to date will go toward continued international expansion

Roblox announced today that it has completed its largest Series F funding round to date, raising a total of $150 million toward increased international expansion of its platform.

The funding round was led by Greylock Partners and Tiger Global Management. Altos Ventures, Index Ventures, and Meritch Capital Partners, all of whom are existing investors in Roblox, provided additional funding.

The Series F funding will be used to continue building Roblox's international endeavors, including support for additional languages and currencies. The company already began work on this expansion earlier this year when it added Spanish language support, promising more languages to come.

"Roblox's mission is to power the imagination of people around the world," said CEO David Baszucki. "This funding will allow us to scale the company as we serve all the creative individuals across the globe who come to our platform."
