SEATTLE - May 27, 2009 - Are you an expert on a particular aspect of the game industry? Do you love the sound of your own voice? Do you want the opportunity to be listened to and adored by hordes of gaming enthusiasts? Then this is the time to step up. The organizers of the sixth annual PAX gaming festival today gave the final call for speakers for this year's show to be held Sept. 4 - 6 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle.

With over 60,000 attendees expected, PAX 2009 is the place for industry professionals to demonstrate upcoming releases, educate gaming audiences and discuss trends in no-holds-barred panels. The Call for Speakers is open to all game industry experts worldwide, with speakers selected based on their past experience, knowledge of the industry and the topic proposed. Prospective speakers must submit a completed session proposal form at http://paxsite.com/panelsub.php by May 31 to be considered for this year's show.

Past PAX topics include:

• How to Break into the Game Industry

• Is Casual Killing Core Games?

• How Marketing and PR in Games Really Works

If selected, prospective speakers will be contacted by June 15 and will receive a complimentary Speaker Badge for PAX 2009. For further information, contact pax_panels@penny-arcade.com.

Also, be advised that attendee badge sales are already nearing the newly set cap for this year's show. Procrastinators are encouraged to go now to http://paxsite.com/registration.php to purchase their badges, as the August 15 pre-registration deadline is expected to become defunct sooner rather than later. Don't miss out!
