Nexon closes Humanature Studio

Vancouver studio shut down with 90 staff made redundant

Korean MMO specialist Nexon has closed its Vancouver-based Humanature studio, with the loss of 90 jobs, reports Kotaku.

The team recently received the 2008 Best Companies to Work For award from BC Business.

Humanature was Nexon's Canadian development base and the studio was led by Alex Garden, previously of Company of Heroes developer Relic Entertainment.

Nexon still has a studio in Los Angeles, which is not thought to have been affected.
