N-Gage European summer tour announces UK dates
Mobile phone giant Nokia has announced details of its N-Gage Summer Tour, a promotional event which is visiting cities across Europe to give gamers a chance to try out the new N-Gage QD device and a range of new software.
Mobile phone giant Nokia has announced details of its N-Gage Summer Tour, a promotional event which is visiting cities across Europe to give gamers a chance to try out the new N-Gage QD device and a range of new software.
The tour is scheduled to visit 25 cities in five different European countries, having kicked off on the 26th of June in the Netherlands, and features a tour bus hosting N-Gage QD units playing new titles and a Crash Nitro Kart contest.
Titles on show include Marcel Desailly Pro Soccer, The Sims Bustin' Out, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004, Bomberman, Virtua Cop, Spider-Man 2, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm, Alien Front and Operation Shadow, while the daily winners of the contest will be awarded with an N-Gage QD unit.
The first UK dates on the tour are in Plymouth on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th of July (that's tomorrow and the day after), with the bus moving on to a number of other UK cities before finishing up in Bournemouth on August 11th.
Retail chain Gamestation is working with Nokia on a number of tie-in offers for the tour in the UK, with exclusive in-store bundle deals for the N-Gage QD as well as other Nokia-sponsored competitions and promotions.
