Mole Control

Minesweeper reinvention from Remode available now via Blitz 1UP.

20 JANUARY 2010 LEAMINGTON SPA, UK Blitz 1UP announces the release of cute puzzler Mole Control for PC.

Mole Control, created and developed by Remode, combines unique mechanics and a charming style to bring the logic-based favourite Minesweeper into the 21st Century. Pilot a crazy buggy through a mind-bending adventure to unlock the mystery behind the runaway moles or enjoy a frantic time attack challenge in the village Mole Control competition. Either way your aim is to rid one town of its exploding moles!

Use Supermole power-ups through six zones and over 35 randomly populated, totally re-playable levels to enhance this brain-teasing experience.

There are a whole host of features to help you along your way:

• Uncover numbers with your buggy and use to find and dig up exploding moles… but be careful not to drive over them!

• Play through Adventure Mode to save the village and unlock the frantic Time Attack levels in order to win the village’s annual Mole Control competition

• Random puzzle generation for ultimate replay value in over 35 levels

• Unlockable background story to find the mystery behind the runaway moles.

“We’re thrilled to have helped bring such a great remake of a classic game to the market.” says Blitz 1UP Producer Neil Holmes. “The combination of mad scientist, exploding moles and unique game play twists make Mole Control a fantastic puzzle adventure for people of all ages.”
