Mobile Games Engine ABYSS® 2.0 has its premiere with V-Rally 3D

HAMBURG, GERMANY / San Jose, CA./USA, 20th of March 2006 - FISHLABS, a leading 3D mobile games developer, celebrates the premiere of its platform independent Mobile Games Engine ABYSS® 2.0 with V-Rally 3D. The Game is released by iFone, the leading wireless entertainment publisher, and licensed by Atari, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATAR), a leading global publisher of video games.

V-Rally 3D is iFone's first in a series of 3D games expected to be launched in 2006 and is based on Atari's best-selling PlayStation console version. Synonymous with high speed and adrenaline thrills V-Rally 3D pushes the limits of the mobile phone platform to deliver a spectacular multi-player console-like racing experience.

This exclusive mobile version is the first title based on FISHLABS' game engine ABYSS® 2.0 and runs on no less than 70 different 3D enabled mobile phones with JSR-184 and Mascot Capsule V3 technology. It features realistic 3D physics with different settings for acceleration, suspension and car handling effected by various track conditions on asphalt, gravel and snow. Furthermore, rich 3D graphics with frame rates up to 30 fps even on QVGA devices without hardware acceleration have never been seen on the Java platform before. However, also a native version for BREW is scheduled for Q4 this year.

Enda Carey, iFone Marketing Director added, "V-Rally is a unique 3D Mobile driving experience. It's been developed by FISHLABS with sophisticated 3D technology to offer a driving experience close to that of the original console version. It's the best Rally driving experience on a mobile phone".

"We are thrilled to be working with top 10 publisher iFone on such an exciting brand," added Michael Schade, CEO of FISHLABS, "thanks to our technology mobile gamers can access a console like experience straight from their phone".
