Marcus 'djWHEAT' Graham appointment

Joins Championship Gaming Series as online programming host.

LOS ANGELES – April 18, 2008 – Championship Gaming Series (CGS) announced today that the most popular U.S. eSports personality, Marcus ‘djWHEAT’ Graham, will be joining the league exclusively as the lead CGS sportscaster and host of online programming for all CGS events, including broadcast shows, online programming, and live competitions. Often referred to as the “John Madden of Video Gaming,” Graham will kick off his new role as the host and producer of the CGS North America Training Camp, which begins next week.

In the past four years, Graham has produced more than 2,500 hours of gaming coverage, traveling across the globe as a commentator for many of the world's biggest professional gaming tournaments and broadcast shows. He has also hosted and produced more than 325 episodes of his wildly popular show “Epileptic Gaming,” a weekly internet talk show about the gaming world.

“Since its debut last year, CGS has established itself as the only professional video game sports league dedicated to advancing the eSports community through live and globally televised events, and I’m incredibly excited to join up with CGS full-time, just as they’re prepared to expand their online programming in a really big way,” Graham said. “Having worked for many years both as an eSports host and producer, I can’t wait to lend my expertise to the talented team at CGS and continue to make a meaningful impact on the growth of the industry.”

Graham is the latest addition to the stellar all-star CGS team which includes CGS commentator Paul "ReDeYe" Chaloner, host Andrew Sicilano and global league spokesperson and exclusive CGS commentator Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel.
