COLUMBIA, SC - SpeedTree®RT's cutting edge trees and plants will be a major presence in many of the first titles accompanying the "PLAYSTATION®3" computer entertainment system launch November 17 in North America, and in more games due out into the first months of 2007.

"SpeedTree's award-winning trees and plants will enhance the best titles in a variety of genres, from action and adventure games to war and aerial combat," said IDV CEO Chris King. "From day one, many "PLAYSTATION 3" games are going to deliver outstanding environmental graphics."

Titles featuring SpeedTreeRT that are due out at "PLAYSTATION 3" launch or soon after include:

[Launch Title] In Resistance: Fall of Man, fight as US Army Ranger Nathan Hale alongside British soldiers in a last-ditch effort to save Europe from the Chimera. The parasitic species has decimated the continent and by 1951 invaded Great Britain. Wield an arsenal of exotic weapons amidst the chaos of large, crowded battlefields and tense close combat. Resistance: Fall of Man includes extensive single player and co-op campaigns, playable vehicles, and the largest online multiplayer offering ever seen in a console launch title (up to 40-player support). [Launch Title] Call of Duty® 3, the follow-up to the #1 next-generation game, delivers the intensity of being closer than ever to the fury of combat during the battle for the Liberation of Paris, the most harrowing campaign of WWII, known as The Normandy Breakout. Through a seamless narrative, Call of Duty 3 delivers the rush of unrelenting battle and breathtaking action of the Allied offensive that changed the fate of the world. [Launch Title] Full Auto 2: Battlelines delivers the most destructive racing experience ever. Featuring heavily-armed vehicles throttling through highly-detailed and fully-interactive environments, Full Auto pushes the boundaries of next-generation hardware with a sense of speed and style all its own. [Launch Title] The Elder Scrolls® IV: Oblivion Already a best-seller on PC and Xbox® 360, Oblivion features a powerful combination of free-form gameplay, unprecedented graphics, cutting edge AI, character voices by acting legends Patrick Stewart, Sean Bean, Terrance Stamp, and Lynda Carter, and an award-winning soundtrack. Gamers can choose to unravel Oblivion's epic narrative at their own pace or explore the vast world in search of their own unique challenges. The "PLAYSTATION 3" version includes an all-new faction called Knights of the Nine, which allows players to join a new faction and found their own order of holy knights - leading them into battle against a sorcerer-king and his demonic minions while exploring massive dungeons while searching for legendary relics - the holy armor and weapons of the Divine Crusader. Fatal Inertia is a next-generation racing game where players drive high-speed hovering racecrafts through beautiful environments while engaging in frenetic physics-based combat. Due out in 2007. Way of the Samurai 3 (working title). Developed by Acquire Corp., maker of the Tenchu and Way of the Samurai series, and published by Spike. Powerful new graphics, reminiscent of Akira Kurosawa films will help tell the ancient tales of the early days of the samurai. Due out in 2007. Cord Smith, Full Auto 2 Project Director at PSEUDO Interactive, Inc., praised SpeedTree's versatility and usability as essential to the next generation development process.

"SpeedTree allowed our artists to quickly and easily generate a wide variety of trees so the team could concentrate on more complicated matters," said Mr. Smith, "like driving insanely fast and blowing apart the many districts of Meridian City."
