The group has been conducting a spate of DDOS attacks recently, attacking Xbox Live last week and forcing PSN offline this morning. Lizard Squad also claimed to be behind an attack which stole and redistributed confidential information from Sony pictures earlier this month, sending details of actor's salaries and unreleased films to the media.
The group has promised more attacks over the Christmas period.
