Krazy Kart Racing

Available at the App Store now.

El Segundo, Calif. – Sept. 3, 2009 – Konami Digital Entertainment today announced their newest iPhone and iPod touch game, Krazy Kart Racing, is now available at the Apple® App Store. Krazy Kart Racing uses a 3D cartoon style and offers a wealth of content for long-lasting gameplay, making it the most extensive kart racing game on the market.

“With Krazy Kart Racing, we wanted to maintain the overarching quality gameplay that Konami is committed to, while offering players the best experience possible in a kart racing game,” said Anthony Borquez, Vice President of Konami Mobile and Online. “A fun and interactive title for all to play on-the-go, the rich features in Krazy Kart Racing will be sure to please both casual and hardcore gamers alike.”

In Krazy Kart Racing, players can assume the role of one of the 10 classic Konami gaming heroes as they battle it out across 16 themed racing circuits. Utilizing third-person view and dynamic camera balancing, racers can guide their chosen character around the laps, using whatever they can to gain an advantage over opponents or multi-player rivals. Nitro boosts also give players a welcome burst of speed, while a wide-range of extras picked up during the race contribute to slowing down opposing karts.

Complete with five different single player modes and 10 original weapons and items, players will have no trouble keeping up their pace as they compete to be first across the finish line. The game also features both local and multiplayer functionality via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Krazy Kart Racing is now available for $9.99 from Apple’s App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=327465474&mt=8.
